What I learnt this week......

This week, I learnt the connection between a polynomial and a monomial- a polynomial is more than one of monomials together in a linear equation with one unknown.
I learnt how to serve a table tennis ball correctly (I hope).
I learnt that it really is helpful if you write a plan before you start writing a report or any other kind of writing. I also learnt that being quick is only any good when your doing something that doesn't need quality (which I think there isn't many things that seem to only need speed).
Because I have a feeling that I could have done better in both my reading tests(maybe) if I did it with more attention to the instructions, instead of just reading it briefly then going straight on to the questions.
Therefore I am pretty happy about what I have learnt this week and I hope to improve on my quality with work.

What I'm good at and why:
Self manager-I am always ready to learn when I take out my books before We start writing.
Contributor-I participate in p.e.
Communicator-I use lots of different tools to communicate with others.
Explorer-When I went on Abseiling at camp, I defeated fear.
Thinker -I shared my ideas with my group.
What I need to improve on:
Self manager- Being more organised on my time.
Contributor-Contributing in more opportunities.
Communicator-Speak in front of a large audience .
Explorer-Exploring new ways to do stuff.
Thinker-Think out of the box.

Joyce sams learner t-shirt

My sams learner t-shirt is about the five main attributes - Contributor,Explorer, Communicator,Self manager and thinker.
For Contributor,I put a world with lots of people holding hands all around it,which stands for co-operation and the four house groups(co-operation too).

For Explorer, I drew a stick figure with a magnifier, exploring nature;A stick figure down the bottom climbing a mountain.

For Communicator, I drew a cellphone and laptop which means that a good communicator uses a wide variety of tools to communicate.

For self manager, I drew a stick person with a tidy suitcase which means being always prepared and a stick figure reading a book independently.

Then last but not least,I drew a person asking a lot of questions,a box with a thinking bubble outside it(thinking outside the box) , a person thinking about thinking and a blob writing the word creative creatively(Think creatively) .^-^
